Royals vs. Astros Prediction
After sweeping the Twins over the weekend the defending champion Royals will head to Houston to take on the Astros in a new series starting tonight at 8:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Astros are -150 money line favorites versus the Royals, who have odds of +130 to pull off the upset tonight in Houston. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 9 runs.

Chris Young will take the hill for the Royals after he allowed two earned runs over five innings in his season debut versus the Mets last Tuesday. He only gave up three hits but one came on a two-run Neil Walker home run in the top of the fourth inning. He also walked three batters in the process.

The Astros will counter tonight with Collin McHugh, who was shelled for six runs in his debut last Wednesday. He retired just one batter against the Yankees before he was pulled and allowed six of the first seven batters of the game to reach base.
Dating back to last season, the over is 6-1 in the Royals’ last seven road games and is 5-1 in their last six road games versus a right-handed starter. The over is also 5-1-1 in McHugh’s last seven starts versus a team with a winning record and is 15-5-3 in the Astros’ last 23 games coming off a loss.
