Royals vs. A’s Pick
The Kansas City Royals will attempt to hand the Oakland A’s their third consecutive loss tonight when the two teams square off at 10:05PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the A’s are -115 money line favorites versus the Royals, who have odds of +105 to pull off the small upset. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 7 runs.
Bet Tonight’s Royals vs. A’s Game
The Royals might be without Mike Moustakas tonight due to a slight hamstring injury. He homered and reached base three times during Thursday’s win over the Astros and while the injury doesn’t seem serious, it makes sense for Kansas City to rest Moose if he’s feeling the slightest twinge. Christian Colon will start at third base of Moustakas can’t go.
For the A’s, Billy Burns is not in the A’s lineup tonight as Coco Crisp will start in center and Chris Coghlan will serve as the team’s DH. Rich Hill, meanwhile, will draw the start for Oakland after he allowed only one run over six quality innings last Saturday in a win over the Mariners. He struck out 10 in the victory.

They’re also 10-1 in their last 11 games versus a left-handed starter and have won 23 of their last 30 games dating back to last season. The A’s, meanwhile, are 1-7 in their last eight games following an off day and are winless at 0-5 in their last five home games versus a right-handed starter (Edinson Volquez will start tonight for Kansas City).
