Angels dominant on the road
The Angels continued their amazing start on the road with an 8-7 win at Houston Tuesday. Los Angeles is now 16-8 overall and 11-1 on the road after taking the first two games in the series. They Angels are averaging 5.00 runs per game while giving up 4.22 per contest.

Houston is hoping that Justin Verlander will get them back on track today. Verlander is 3-0 through five starts with a 1.10 ERA and a 0.77 WHIP. He is off to one of the best starts in his career, racking up 39 strikeouts with just eight walks over 32.2 innings this season.
MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Angels have now won all six games against AL West opponents this season and they have won seven straight road games against a right-handed starter.
Houston
Houston has won 13 of Verlander’s last 15 starts and six of his last seven starts at home. The Astros have also won 37 of their last 52 Wednesday games.
Prediction:
I’ve went with the Astros in the first two games in this series and it has bit me. However, Verlander is known for being able to right the ship for his teams. He often did that in Detroit and I think he will do it today. Verlander is a prideful man and he knows his team can’t take an early season sweep at home to the Angels. Los Angeles has all the momentum, but I think that is how JV likes it.
The Pick: Houston Astros -220
