Angels vs. A’s Prediction
The L.A. Angels are scuffling out of the gates in 2016 and might find it difficult to get on track tonight when they face the A’s Sonny Gray at 10:05PM ET in Oakland.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the A’s are -150 money line favorites versus the Angels, who have odds of +130 to pull off the upset. As for the total, the number currently sits at 7 runs.

Gray allowed just one run on three hits over seven innings of work to defeat the White Sox in his season debut last Wednesday. He struggled to find his curve ball early while walking four batters, but he held Chicago’s lineup mostly in check.
The Angels will counter with Nick Tropeano, who was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake after Andrew Heaney (flexor strain) was removed from the rotation. Tropeano was one of the club’s last cuts in spring training but he did produce a 3.93 ERA in seven starts for the Angels last season.

Despite having guys like Mike Trout and Albert Pujols in their lineup, the Angels struggled to score runs in their four-game series versus the Rangers. They combined to score just 11 runs in those four games and now face the A’s ace tonight. Oakland is 5-2 on the runline to start the season and could be a nice value play tonight.
