Dodgers vs. Giants Prediction
Following a controversial finish to Friday night’s game, the Dodgers and Giants will clash again today in San Francisco at 4:05PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Giants are +115 money line underdogs to beat the Dodgers, who have -135 odds to pull off their first win in San Francisco this season. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 6 runs.
Bet Tonight’s Dodgers vs. Giants Game
Ross Stripling pitched 7 1/3 innings of no-hit ball before being removed by manager Dave Roberts last night. He spent last year making his way back from Tommy John surgery and was only extended as a starter in the second half of spring training, so after he walked Angel Pagan in the eighth inning Roberts removed him from the game. Reliever Chris Hatcher then gave up a two-run homer to Trevor Brown, tying a game L.A. would go on to lose, 3-2.
Fortunately for the Dodgers, they’ll counter today with ace Clayton Kershaw, who allowed just one single and one walk over seven shutout innings in Monday’s 15-0 win over the Padres. Kershaw struck out nine batters on the night and experienced little resistance from an overmatched San Diego lineup.

The Giants will also have their ace on the hill today in Madison Bumgarner, who picked up an Opening Day win in Milwaukee. He was battling the flu and wasn’t as sharp as he normally is, although he also battled nagging injuries during spring training so it hasn’t been a smooth start to 2016 for Bumgarner.
With the price set at only -135 and Bumgarner not firing on all cylinders yet, the Dodgers are nice value play.
