MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 10-1 in their last 11 road games. Los Angeles is 13-3 in the last 16 Hill starts versus the NL East.
Washington
The Nationals are 6-2 in their last eight Monday games. Washington is 13-3 in the last 16 Scherzer starts.
Prediction:
Scherzer was absolutely filthy in an inning of relief Friday night and I trust him here in this spot. He’s one of the best pitchers in baseball and capable of putting a team on his back. Hill has suffered through injuries this season and will be on a pitch count tonight. The more pitchers LA uses, the better chance one or two of them are not having a good night. Take the hosts here to extend the series.
