Los Angeles Angels DFS SPIN
Logan O’Hoppe homered twice and drove in three runs on Monday night, propelling the Angels to an 8-5 victory over the Mariners in 11 innings. O’Hoppe tagged Mariners’ starter Logan Gilbert for a 378-foot two-run blast in the second inning to get the Angels on the board. He then tied it up with a 368-foot solo shot off of the right-hander in the fourth inning. The 23-year-old also doubled in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-5. He has struggled since returning from the injured list, so hopefully this strong game gets him going for the stretch run. For the season, he’s now slashing .242/.296/.524 with 10 homers and 22 RBI in 135 plate appearances.
Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Julio Rodríguez went 4-for-5 and blasted his 30th home run of the season on Monday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Mariners past the Angels in extra innings. The 22-year-old superstar singled off of Reid Detmers in the opening inning then came around to score on a two-run blast by Cal Raleigh. Rodríguez then walloped a game-tying 402-foot two-run shot off of Jose Marte in the 10th inning, but that would end up being the extent of the Mariners’ offense. With his four-hit attack, Rodríguez is now hitting an impressive .287/.342/.504 with 30 long balls, 97 RBI and 36 stolen bases on the season.
