Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Cal Raleigh homered and drove in four runs Monday in a victory for the Mariners over the Astros. Raleigh gave the Mariners a 4-1 lead with a three-run shot in the second inning. With the game tied at 4-4, he ripped an RBI single for a 5-4 lead and ultimately a win. The backstop has been much better as of late with the stick, but still registers a .169 average despite a good run. That being said, he’s worth consideration in two-catcher leagues for those desperate for help in that format.
Houston Astros DFS Spin
Kyle Tucker homered, stole a base and went 3-for-4 Monday in a loss to the Mariners. Tucker took Robbie Ray deep in the second inning to make it 4-2 Mariners. The outfielder has his 10th homer of the season, and the theft puts him in double digits as well. After his dreadful start, Tucker has been outstanding, and there’s nothing to suggest he won’t be a fantasy stalwart for the rest of 2022.
