Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Bryan Woo registered a quality start in a no-decision against the Giants on Monday night, surrendering just two runs on three hits over six stellar frames. The rookie right-hander piled up seven strikeouts on the evening while issuing a pair of walks. The lone blemish on his day came on a two-run blast off the bat of Blake Sabol in the fourth inning. It’s the first time in six big league starts that Woo has completed six innings, and his first quality start. Woo got 15 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the night — 10 on his fastball — while posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll tote a 4.08 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 39/8 K/BB ratio (28 2/3 innings) into his final first half start on Saturday against the Astros in Houston.

Framber Valdez (ankle) will have his start pushed back to Saturday against the Mariners. Valdez had been tentatively scheduled to return on Thursday against the Mariners, but the Astros will give him a couple of extra days to rest. The Astros have yet to announce a starter for Thursday’s contest.
