Jose Caballero went 2-for-4 with a run scored, RBI and a pair of stolen bases as the Mariners fell to the Astros on Saturday evening in Houston. The 26-year-old led off the third inning with a single off of Framber Valdez, then swiped second and third base before scoring on an infield single off the bat of J.P. Crawford. He also delivered a two-out RBI single of his own in the fourth inning that tied the game at 2-2. Caballero has performed much better than Kolten Wong this season — slashing .233/.361/.342 with three homers, 20 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 180 plate appearances.
