Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Mike Ford walloped his 11th home run of the season on Sunday as the Mariners fell to the Blue Jays. Ford crushed a 407-foot two-run blast off of Alek Manoah to open the scoring in the second inning. He walked in his only other plate appearance in the ballgame, finishing the afternoon 1-for-1 officially. The 31-year-old has done a decent job for the M’s this season — slashing .264/.322/.609 with 11 long balls and 23 RBI.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Ryan Jeffers delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the 12th inning Sunday to give the Twins a 5-4 victory over the White Sox. After the Twins loaded the bases with no outs in a tie game in the bottom of the 12th, Christian Vázquez grounded into a 6-2-3 double play. The team’s other catcher, though, was able to pick him up, singling to right to end the game. It was Jeffers’ third hit of the afternoon. He currently has an .816 OPS, compared to .578 for Vázquez. However, even with that difference, he’s still playing a bit less than half of the time.

Mariners vs. Twins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
This should be one of the more underrated pitching matchups on Monday night. You might think I’m crazy when you see that Twins starter Kenta Maeda is 2-5 with a 5.10 ERA, but you’ve got to look at what he’s done recently. Since returning from his triceps injury, he’s 2-1 with a 2.73 ERA in five starts while allowing just 18 hits and striking out 36 over 26 1/3 innings. Luis Castillo, meanwhile, has been steady since the M’s acquired him from the Reds last season. He has posted a 3.04 ERA and he’ll be facing a Minnesota lineup that has been punchless at times this season. Give me he under.
