Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Jorge Soler hit two homers, doubled and walked to lead the Marlins past the White Sox 6-5 on Sunday. Soler homered for the Marlins’ lone run in seven innings versus Lucas Giolito and then homered again in the eighth as soon as they replaced him. In the ninth, he worked a walk with two outs in front of Bryan De La Cruz, who delivered a two-run double to give the Marlins the lead. Soler is now tied for second in the majors with 19 homers, and the guy he’s tied with (Aaron Judge) and the one player ahead of him (Pete Alonso) are both on the IL.
Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN
Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-4 and clubbed a two-run homer on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t nearly enough to lead the Mariners past the Angels. Hernández tagged Angels’ starter Griffin Canning for his 403-foot (112.1 mph EV) two-run shot to get the Mariners on the board in the fourth inning. He also had a pair of singles in the ballgame. With the three-hit attack, the 30-year-old outfielder is now hitting .248/.292/.427 with 11 homers and 35 RBI on the season.
