Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Bryan De La Cruz went 4-for-5 with a homer and a double as the Marlins bested the Phillies 7-3 on Sunday. De La Cruz had his third four-hit game of the season. He still might be challenged for playing time at some point if the Marlins get healthier. We’d expect him to pick it up a bit offensively the rest of the way, but he needs to in order to justify regular playing time. While his current .279/.328/.426 line is decent, he’s giving runs back on defense.
Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Anthony Santander hit two of Baltimore’s six homers Sunday as the Orioles crushed the Twins 15-2. Austin Hays, Ramon Urías, Aaron Hicks and Adley Rutschman also homered in this one. Santander’s first homer was the second of back-to-back homers with Rutschman in the sixth, and he went deep again the very next inning. Santander’s strong first half concludes at .272/.342/.498 with 16 homers in 85 games. That batting average is nearly 30 points higher than his career mark of .245.

Marlins vs. Orioles MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I don’t know what has happened to Sandy Alcantara this season but this is not the same pitcher that won the Cy Young last year. His strikeout rate is down, his giving up too much hard contact and he’s not making as many batters miss as he was a year ago. Dean Kremer, meanwhile, has pitched worse than his 9-4 record would indicate. He too gives up a ton of hard contact, opposing batters are barreling him at a good rate and his strikeout stuff is below average as well. With two above average offenses meeting tonight at Camden Yards, I like the over.
