Miami Marlins DFS SPIN
Avisail Garcia will undergo an MRI exam on his injured left hand on Monday. The Marlins remain hopeful that his hand inflammation is a minor issue, but they’ll get some imaging done just to be on the safe side. This seems like the progression of news information that will ultimately lead to a trip to the injured list for Garcia, so if any fantasy managers are still relying on his limited production, they should be sure to have an alternative option available for next week.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
J.T. Realmuto went 3-for-4 with a run scored on Sunday in the Phillies’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Diamondbacks. Realmuto supplied nearly half of the Phillies’ seven hits during Sunday’s one-sided affair. The 31-year-old backstop has struggled to get going offensively this season, slashing an underwhelming .249/.323/.373 with 27 runs scored, three homers, 20 RBI and six stolen bases across 217 plate appearances.
Marlins vs. Phillies MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Marlins are 5-1 in their last six games versus the Phillies, are 5-1 in their last six games overall and are 4-0 in their last four games following a loss. They’re also 4-1 in their last five divisional games, are 4-1 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter and are 5-2 in their last seven games when their opponent allowed five runs or more in its previous contest. With Sandy Alcantara on the hill, the Marlins offer plenty of value for bettors.
