New York Mets DFS SPIN
Starling Marte went 3-for-5 and hit two solo homers Wednesday as the Mets defeated the Braves 9-7. The homers weren’t cheapies, either. The first, which was part of back-to-back homers with Francisco Lindor in the first, went 418 feet, and the second, in the seventh inning, traveled 431 feet. It’s the fifth two-homer game of Marte’s career. The other four all came with the Pirates, with the most recent taking place three years ago.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Braves manager Brian Snitker confirmed after Wednesday’s game that Max Fried (concussion) will return from the injured list to start against the Mets on Thursday. Fried landed on the concussion injured list after he bopped his head on the ground while trying to make a play at the plate during Saturday’s start. His symptoms faded quickly though and him making his scheduled start was never really in much doubt. The 28-year-old boasts a 2.60 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 127/25 K/BB ratio over 138 1/3 innings in 22 starts on the season.
