New York Mets DFS SPIN
Tylor Megill will start on Saturday against the Orioles. Mets manager Buck Showalter confirmed Friday that Megill will be recalled to take the ball this weekend in Baltimore. The 28-year-old right-hander will be making his first start in the big leagues since June 21. He’s not a recommended streaming option for fantasy managers against a tough Orioles’ lineup.
Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Jordan Westburg went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and two walks against the Mets on Friday. The homer came off righty reliever Reed Garrett, which seems helpful since Westburg is mostly playing against lefties right now; he’s started against just one of the last five righties the Orioles have faced. It has less to do with Westburg that it does the Orioles’ desire to keep all of their infielders involved. Westburg is probably a solid regular right now, but so is Ramón Urías, and Adam Frazier hasn’t been bad against righties.

Mets vs. Orioles MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Megill is 6-4 with a 5.17 ERA on the year and was sent to the minors in late June after he posted a 1-2 record with a 7.56 ERA over his last six outings. The only reason he’s back up is because the Mets traded Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer at the deadline. In July, he was 0-2 with an 8.46 ERA in Triple-A, so it’s not as if Megill earned the call-up. On the other side, Gibson is 10-6 with a 4.53 ERA and will attempt to become the Orioles’ first 11-game winner of the season. I know they’re expensive tonight, but I think the Orioles are the only play.
