New York Mets DFS SPIN
Francisco Lindor crushed a solo homer and also stole a base Sunday in the Mets’ loss to the Nationals. Lindor put the Mets on the board with a solo shot to right field — his first round-tripper of the season — off righty Erick Fedde in the fourth inning. He also walked and stole a base in the ensuing frame. The 28-year-old superstar shortstop looks to be just fine after being drilled in the face by a pitch on Friday evening earlier in the series.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS Spin
Bryce Harper went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts Sunday in the Phillies’ loss to the Athletics. It’s extremely early and there is zero reason for fantasy managers to panic, but we’re obligated to point out that Harper, who was arguably the hottest hitter in baseball at the conclusion of spring training last week, has exactly one hit in 11 at-bats through three regular season games. The reigning National League MVP is going to be just fine, folks.
Mets vs. Phillies MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Mets are just 1-6 in their last seven games versus the Phillies and are 2-5 in their last seven games in Philadelphia. They’re also 4-10 in their last 14 road games, are 15-39 in their last 54 games as an underdog and are 6-28 in their last 34 games when facing an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the Phillies are 7-2 in their last nine home games and are 6-2 in their last eight home games when facing a right-handed starter.
