After continuing their suspended game from Friday night, Francisco Lindor and the Mets and Red Sox will continue their series at 7:10 p.m. ET from Fenway Park. With Max Scherzer set to oppose James Paxton in the pitching matchup, what’s the smart bet tonight in Boston?

New York Mets DFS SPIN
Friday’s game between the Mets and Red Sox was suspended with the Mets up 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Kodai Senga had allowed three runs in 3 1/3 innings when play was halted in the middle of an Alex Verdugo at-bat. Play will resume at 2:10 p.m. EDT on Saturday. The regularly scheduled game has been pushed back from 4:10 to 7:10.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
Trevor Story (elbow) looked good in his first minor league rehab game at Double-A Portland on Friday — going 1-for-2 with a three-run homer. The 30-year-old infielder drew a start at shortstop in this one and clobbered a three-run blast off of Chad Dallas in the fifth inning. He also walked and scored on an RBI triple by Marcelo Mayer in the fifth inning. He’s only expected to need a few games on his rehab assignment before being cleared to make his regular season debut.

Mets vs. Red Sox MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Max Scherzer pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just one hit in a no-decision last Sunday against the Dodgers. He’s a stellar 8-2 on the year with a 3.99 ERA and should be able to navigate Boston’s lineup without too much trouble. James Paxton, meanwhile, surrendered six runs in three innings in a loss to the Cubs last Saturday but it was his worst performance of the year and just the third time in 11 starts that he’s allowed more than two runs. I like him to rebound and I see this being a pitcher’s duel through and through.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: METS/RED SOX UNDER 9.5
