MLB Betting Trends
Minnesota
The Twins are 23-6 in their last 29 Saturday games. Minnesota is 5-23 in its last 28 playoff games.
New York
The Yankees are 53-17 in their last 70 home games. New York is 14-4 in the last 18 Tanaka starts.
Prediction:
The Twins received some effective pitching down the stretch from Dobnak, but it’s still a small sample size and it feels like fools gold. He’ll likely have a very short leash and if Minnesota has to go deep into its bullpen, I don’t like its chances here. Tanaka has been occasionally shaky, but he’s also capable of pitching fairly deep and is backed by both a powerful offense and a strong bullpen. I was wrong about the Twins getting on the board first in the series yesterday and I’m not going down that path again. Going with New York tonight.
