Thursday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – A strong pitching matchup in the National League between the Atlanta Braves and the home Los Angeles Dodgers helps highlight a Thursday with 11 games on the Major League Baseball schedule.
The Dodgers are currently 9-10 after winning two of the first three in the four-game series, while the Braves enter with an 8-11 record. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Los Angeles a -130 favorite in the contest, while Atlanta is a +120 underdog. The over-under currently rests at 6.5.
Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw (2-0, 2.96 ERA) will toe the hill in his home stadium for the 3:10PM EST start. The Braves will counter with Jair Jurjjens, who returned from a stint on the disabled list to toss seven shutout innings Saturday in a victory over the New York Mets.

Oakland is at Seattle for a 10:10PM EST start. Felix Hernandez is on the hill for the Mariners, who are a -145 favorite while the over-under is 6.5.
