Friday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – Another round of Interleague play will take place this weekend. Check out opening odds and totals for Friday’s MLB games.
One day after their manager Jim Riggleman resigned, the Nationals will travel to Chicago to take on the White Sox. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, the Nats opened as +110 money line underdogs, while the Sox opened at –120.
In other action, the Yankees opened as –130 money line favorites over the visiting Rockies, who opened as +120 underdogs. Colorado is 3-13 in Ubaldo Jimenez’s last 16 starts, and 1-6 in his last seven road starts.
The Red Sox will travel to Pittsburgh to play the Pirates, who are +150 on the money line for Friday night’s game. The Red Sox are 4-0 in Jon Lester’s last four road starts and 9-3 in his last 12 starts overall.
The hot Arizona Diamondbacks are +140 on the money line against the host Detroit Tigers, who are –150. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
