(The Spread) – Looking for the Red Sox-Rangers opening odds? You’ve come to the right place.
Oddsmakers have made the Rangers –165 money line favorites over the visiting Red Sox, who are +155 on the ML for tonight’s 8:05PM ET start. Boston absolutely crushed Texas 13-2 on Wednesday night and will be looking for a similar offensive output tonight. The Red Sox are 4-0 in Andre Miller’s last four starts and 5-1 in his last six road starts.
Staying in the AL, the Rays are –145 money line favorites versus the Tigers, who are +136 on the ML. Tampa Bay is 4-0 in Jeremy Hellickson’s last four home starts and 4-1 in his last five starts as a favorite.
Switching leagues, the Braves are –115 on the money line versus the host Cubs (+105) at 2:20PM ET. Atlanta is 4-1 in its last five games following a loss and 5-1 in is last six games on Thursday. The Cubs, meanwhile, are 8-2 in their last 10 Thursday games and 4-1 in their last five games during Game 4 of a series.
The Giants will get another crack at the Astros after dropping two of three games in Houston last week. San Francisco is –230 on the money line while visiting Houston is +215. According to latest MLB trends, the over is 4-1-3 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in San Francisco and 4-1 in the last five meetings overall.
