Tigers struggling to win on the road
TAMPA, FL (Spread Winners) – Losing on the road has become a trend for the Tigers, who visit the Rays tonight at 7:10PM ET.
The Tigers lost 5-2 to the Rays on Monday to fall to 1-5 in their last six road games overall. As they gear up to face Jake O tonight, they’re also 1-4 in their last five road games versus a right-handed starter and 4-9 in their last 13 games overall.
The Rays haven’t been great either, losing five of their last seven games overall. But they’re 11-2 in their last 13 games versus a left-handed starter and 5-1 in their last six home games versus a lefty, which are key trends as they gear up to face David Price tonight.
