Buchholz has been considered a strong pitcher for many years, but Boston hasn’t exactly been doing well when he is on the mound. They are surprisingly just 4-12 in his last 16 starts when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game and 3-10 in his last 13 starts during the second game of a series. Carrasco has been solid for Cleveland, as the Indians are 7-3 in his last 10 starts against AL East opponents and 5-1 in his last 6 starts against a winning team.
