The Tigers turn the ball to their ace, Verlander, to try and stop the bleeding, but Cleveland just seems to have the Tigers’ number. Detroit’s bats went silent on Saturday and that could happen again against Tomlin, who has better numbers than Verlander this year. Verlander has been solid lately, but still giving up runs. Detroit may need perfection to end this streak.
