Hernandez attempts to be a spoiler against a Texas team that is trying to pull away from Houston in the Al West. Hernandez has not been great this year, but he has been dominant against the Rangers.
King Felix went 8 innings in his last start against them on Sept. 10 while allowing no runs and three hits. In fact, he’s allowed just six runs over his last five starts against Texas.
Hernandez faces Derek Holland, who has been destroyed in his last two starts, allowing 10 runs.
