Saturday’s MLB Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – It’s another busy Saturday on the MLB diamond today. Here is a look at the odds for the top games taking place.

The featured game of the day has the Los Angeles Dodgers (58-45) hosting the Los Angeles Angels (55-47) at 4:05PM ET. The Dodgers have Clayton Kershaw (8-6, 2.51 ERA) on the mound to face Andrew Heaney (5-0, 1.79). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Dodgers are the favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -165 to win, while the Angels are getting a money line of +150 to prevail. The over/under total has been set at 6.5 runs. The Dodgers won Friday’s series opener and they have now won four straight over the Angels. The Dodgers are now 9-4 in their last 13 interleague games and the two have hit the under in six of their last 8 meetings.
Another game of note has the Toronto Blue Jays (53-51) hosting the Kansas City Royals (61-41) at 1:07PM ET. The Jays have Mark Buehrle (11-5, 3.29) on the mound to face Yordano Ventura (5-7, 4.86) of the Royals. Oddsmakers have the Blue Jays favored at home, as they are getting odds of -130 to win, while the Royals are getting a money line of +120 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Toronto has won the first two games in this series and three of five meetings with the Royals in 2015. The Jays are also 7-2 in Buehrle’s last nine home starts and 6-2 in their last eight games as a favorite.
Another game of note today has the Arizona Diamondbacks (50-51) looking to win their seventh straight game and get to .500 when they hit the road to face the Houston Astros (58-46) at 7:10PM ET. The Diamondbacks have Jeremy Hellickson (7-6, 4.60) on the mound to face Dallas Keuchel (12-5, 2.32). Oddsmakers have Houston favored at home, as the Astros are getting odds of -195 to win, while the Diamondbacks are getting a money line of +180 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7.5 runs. Arizona won Friday’s series opener and the Diamondbacks are 22-7 in their last 29 against the Astros and 8-2 in their last 10 trips to Houston.
