LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – A pivotal AL East series continues in Toronto while a couple of aces throw for their respective teams on Saturday.
After Carlos Beltran hit what turned out to be a game-winning 3-run home run to bury the Blue Jays on Friday night, Toronto will look to bounce back versus its AL East rivals when it hosts the Yankees today at 1:07PM ET. According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Blue Jays are -124 money line favorites for today’s game while the total is sitting at 8 runs.
In Boston Felix Hernandez will take the mound for the Mariners, who are -145 money line road favorites versus the Red Sox at 1:35PM ET. The Royals will ace throw their new ace Johnny Cueto when they host the Angels at 7:10PM ET as -167 money line favorites.
Cross-town rivals will once again clash in Chicago when the White Sox host the Cubs at 7:10PM ET. The over is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams when the White Sox play host and the Cubs are 4-1 in their last five road games versus their in-city rivals. With Jake Arrieta on the mound, the Cubs are -140 money line favorites.
