The featured game of the day has the Chicago Cubs (56-47) looking for their fifth straight win when they hit the road to face the Milwaukee Brewers (44-61) at 2:10PM ET. The Brewers have Kyle Lohse (5-12, 6.24 ERA) on the mound to face Clayton Richard (1-0, 5.40) for the Cubs. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Cubs are favored on the road, as Chicago is getting odds of -125 to win, while the Brewers are getting odds of +115 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8 runs. The Cubs have won three straight over the Brewers and they have won 7 of their last 9 Sunday games.

The San Diego Padres (51-53) also look for their fifth straight win today when they are on the road to face the Miami Marlins (42-62) at 1:10PM ET. The Marlins have Jose Fernandez (4-0, 2.53) on the mound to face James Shields (8-4, 3.77). Oddsmakers have the Marlins favored at home, as they are getting odds of -150 to win, while the Padres are getting a money line of +140 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 6 runs. San Diego is 5-1 against the Marlins this season but the Padres are just 2-8 in Shields’ last 10 starts.

The final game of note has the Toronto Blue Jays (53-52) hosting the Kansas City Royals (62-41) at 1:07PM ET. The Royals have Edinson Volquez (10-5, 3.21) on the mound to face R.A. Dickey (5-10, 4.27) of the Jays. Oddsmakers have the Jays as a -130 home favorite today, while the Royals are getting odds of +120 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 9 runs. The Royals have won 17 of their last 25 games coming into today while the Blue Jays have hit the over in 8 of their last 10 Sunday games.
