The Chicago Cubs (87-61) look to complete a weekend sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals (92-56) when the two meet today at 2:20PM ET. The Cardinals have Carlos Martinez (13-7, 3.02 ERA) on the mound to face Jon Lester (10-10, 3.38) of the Cubs. The Cardinals have a 5-game lead on Chicago in the NL Central entering the day. According to oddsmakers at GTBets, the Cubs are a -130 favorite to win at home today, while the Cardinals are getting odds of +120 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has not been set. The Cubs have won the first two games of this series and they have now won four of their last five against St. Louis. They have also won 20 of their last 26 home games. The Los Angeles Dodgers (85-62) host the Pittsburgh Pirates (88-60) at 4:10PM ET in another featured game today. Sabathia (4-9, 4.93) of the Yankees. Oddsmakers have the Mets as a -150 favorite at home, while the Yankees are getting odds of +140 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. These two have split the first two games of the series. The Yankees are now 11-4 in their last 15 road games while the Mets are 7-3 with the over in their last 10 interleague contests.
