The Chicago Cubs (80-57) look to win their sixth straight today when they take the road to face the St. Louis Cardinals (87-51) at 1:45PM ET. The Cubs have Jon Lester (9-10, 3.59 ERA) on the mound to face Carlos Martinez (13-7, 3.04). According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cardinals are a -130 favorite at home against the Cubs, while Chicago is getting odds of +120 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. The Cubs are just 3-8 in their last 11 trips to St. Louis, but they have won the first two in this series. The Cubs have won 28 of their last 39 games and they have hit the under in 11 of Lester’s last 16 starts.

The Los Angeles Dodgers (80-58) are looking to win six straight today as well. They are on the road to face the Los Angeles Angels (69-59) at 10PM ET. The Dodgers have Mat Latos (4-9, 4.92) on the mound to face Garrett Richards (13-10, 3.77). Oddsmakers have the Angels as a -135 favorite at home, while the Dodgers are getting odds of +125 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8 runs. The Dodgers have won eight straight over the Angels and 13 of their last 16 overall. The Angels are just 2-7 in their last 9 home games.

Another game of note today has the Houston Astros (75-64) trying to hold on to their 1-game lead in the AL West when they are on the road against the Oakland Athletics (60-79). The Astros have Collin McHugh (15-7, 3.75) on the mound to face Aaron Brooks (1-2, 6.91) of Oakland. Oddsmakers have the Astros as a -145 favorite on the road, while the Athletics are getting odds of +135 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7.5 runs. The over is strong for this one as Oakland has hit it in 12 of its last 16 overall while Houston is 6-2-1 with the over in its last 9 games.
