Sunday MLB Picks
Our team of writers and handicappers hand out their MLB picks and predictions for Sunday, May 10.
San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers, 4:10PM ET
If the San Francisco Giants were worried about reigning NL Cy Young award-winner Tim Lincecum after his first two starts, they aren’t anymore.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ concerns about their Manny Ramirez-less offense seem to be easing.
Still, Los Angeles has yet to get the best of Lincecum, who’ll go for a fourth straight win overall and against San Francisco’s most bitter NL West rival on Sunday at Dodger Stadium in the finale of a three-game set.
Despite his small frame and limited major league experience, Lincecum dazzled hitters in his first full season last year, going 18-5 with a 2.62 ERA. But he struggled through his first two starts of 2009, allowing seven runs and walking six in 8 1-3 innings.

Toronto Blue Jays at Oakland A’s, 4:05PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays rebounded from two subpar hitting performances to even their series with the Oakland Athletics.
In their attempt to win the three-game set in Oakland on Sunday, the Blue Jays will face a starter who proved effective against them last month.
Toronto, which leads the majors in runs (199) and batting average (.292), came into Saturday having produced a combined four runs and 11 hits in consecutive losses. In a 6-4 victory, the Blue Jays jumped on the A’s early with single runs in four of the first five innings and added two in the eighth while reaching 15 hits for the ninth time this season.

Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox, 8:00PM ET
Evan Longoria has dominated the Boston Red Sox with his bat this season. Matt Garza has done it with his arm.
It’s difficult to say whom the Red Sox will be less excited to see Sunday night.
Ten days after flirting with a perfect game against Boston, Garza will try to pitch the Tampa Bay Rays to a seventh straight series victory over their AL East rivals when the clubs complete their three-game set at Fenway Park.
After homering and driving in five runs in Saturday’s 14-5 win, Longoria easily leads the majors with 44 RBIs, including 21 in nine games against the Red Sox. He also has five of his 11 homers versus Boston after hitting four in last year’s AL championship series between the clubs.
