Tigers set for another over at home?
After a week away from home, the Detroit Tigers return to their home field tonight to host the Cleveland Indians at 7:10PM ET.
The Tigers have Justin Verlander on the mound tonight to face Josh Tomlin of the Indians. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Detroit is favored at home, as the Tigers are getting odds of -120 to win, while the Indians are being given a money line of +110 to prevail. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 8.5 runs.
Detroit is 8-6 overall, 2-2 at home and 9-5 with the over. Cleveland is 6-7 on the season, 3-2 on the road and 6-6-1 with the over/under total. These two are meeting for the first time this season, but the Indians won five of the last seven in this series last season. These two have hit the over in eight of their last 10 outings as well.

The Tigers have lost three of their last four returning home, but they were able to produce at least four runs in all four home games this season, including 8 runs in their last home effort. Cleveland is hitting the road after six straight at home, but they face a struggling Justin Verlander, who has a 7.16 ERA after three starts. Detroit should be able to give Verlander run support, but their ace is also likely to allow some runs. Look for this game to produce at least 9 runs.
