Detroit has Daniel Norris on the mound to face Tom Koehler of the Marlins. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Detroit is a -125 favorite at home this afternoon. Miami is listed with a money line of +115 to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 9.5 runs.
Miami is 41-36 on the season, 20-17 on the road and 40-36-1 with the over. Detroit is 39-38 overall, 22-16 at home and 44-29-4 with the over. After picking up a pair of wins in Miami to open the season, the Tigers earned a 7-5 win on Tuesday night thanks to a 7-run fifth inning. The two have hit the over in all three meetings this season.

Norris has made just one start this season, going just five innings while allowing 3 runs. Koehler hasn’t been too bad this season, but still has an ERA over 4. Given the history these two teams have shown against each other, there is no reason to think it won’t be another high-scoring game. Norris isn’t likely to pitch deep into the game, which gives the ball to Detroit’s struggling bullpen. Koehler is likely to give up a deep ball to the Tigers’ lineup.
