From Rotoworld: Dickey yielded three runs over six innings in a win over the Marlins on Friday. This was his first win since June 24. Other than a couple of bombs from Giancarlo Stanton, Dickey kept the Marlins off the board. The veteran knuckleballer gave up three hits in all while walking just one batter and striking out three. He improved to 7-7 with the victory and has a 4.03 ERA and 93/53 K/BB ratio in 134 innings across 22 starts. He lines up for a start against the Cardinals on the road next time out.
Wacha allowed three runs on six hits over his six frames in Tuesday’s victory over the Royals. The right-hander punched out five on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. All of the damage against him came in the fourth inning on a bases-clearing double by Cheslor Cuthbert. Wacha is enjoying a nice bounce-back season, compiling a 9-4 record, 3.70 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 115/38 K/BB ratio across 116 2/3 innings on the season. He’ll take on the Braves at home on Sunday.
