From Rotoworld: Triggs allowed six earned runs, nine hits and a walk with just three strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in a home loss Friday against the Nationals. Triggs threw just 49 of his 81 pitches for strikes as his record fell to 5-5. He has dropped three straight starts, including an 0-2 mark and 11.00 ERA over his past two outings at home. The wheels are starting to come off due to his inability to limit his homers allowed. He gave up just one home run over his first seven starts across 40 2/3 innings, but he has served up five long balls across 21 innings over his past four outings.
Cobb allowed a career-high nine earned runs, 14 hits and two walks over five innings in a loss Saturday at Seattle. Cobb struggled with his location, throwing just 60 of his 94 pitches for strikes. His ERA ballooned from 3.67 to 4.52 after the poor outing, undoing all of the good he did in the month of May when he was 3-2 with a 2.95 ERA to lower his ERA from 4.66 to 3.67. He’ll look to get back on track in his next scheduled start Thursday against the White Sox.
