According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Twins are -160 money line favorites versus the White Sox, who have odds of +140 to pull off the upset in Minnesota. With Derek Holland set to face Ervin Santana in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Holland scattered eight hits while allowing one run in six innings Tuesday against the Orioles. Holland bounced back from giving up 14 runs and six homers over seven innings in his previous two starts. Those were ugly outings, but he’s given the White Sox nine quality starts in 13 tries this year.
Santana was tagged for five runs and nine hits in five innings by the Mariners on Wednesday. While Santana surrendered nine hits, walked one and hit two batters, all of the runs scored on two homers; a two-run shot from Mitch Haniger as the second batter of the game and a three-run shot from Mike Zunino in the third. Santana had hit just two batters this year (and four in 181 innings last year) before plunking both Haniger and Zunino tonight. Oddly enough, both came after the home runs.
Bet Tonight’s White Sox vs. Twins Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Twins have won four straight Santana starts against the White Sox, who are just 3-7 in their last 10 games against Minnesota. Chicago is also 3-12 in its last 15 games against an opponent with a winning record and is 1-5 in its last six games against divisional opponents. On the other side, the Twins are 4-1 in Santana’s last five starts versus American League Central opponents and are 7-2 in his nine outings versus a team with a losing record.
