From Rotoworld: Hellickson had a rough night in a no-decision against to the Angels on Friday, serving up five home runs in his 4 2/3 innings of work. All told, Hellickson gave up seven runs on eight hits in the ballgame while striking out two. All of the damage was done via the long ball, with solo shots from C.J. Cron, Kaleb Cowart and Kole Calhoun and two-run blasts from Mike Trout and Albert Pujols. Hellickson will carry a 5.00 ERA and 1.25 WHIP into Wednesday’s start against the Athletics.
Porcello was charged with three runs across seven innings of work in Tuesday’s 10-4 win over the Cardinals. Porcello was nearly spotless aside from the sixth inning, when the Cards piled up four hits and all three of their runs. The right-hander struck out six on the night, allowed eight hits and permitted two walks in what was his second straight quality start. He’ll shoot for three in a row in Cleveland the next time out.
