From Rotoworld: Garcia allowed four hits and two walks over 6 2/3 scoreless innings with five strikeouts in Friday’s win at San Francisco. Garcia posted his second straight quality start, but it was his first victory in the month of May. He is 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA across 26 innings over four starts in the month, and he has chopped more than two runs (5.73 to 3.58) off his ERA in seven starts dating back to April 12.
Chavez was knocked around for five runs over 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the Marlins on Friday. It was his shortest start of the season. Chavez gave up eight hits, including a long two-run homer to Giancarlo Stanton and a solo blast to J.T. Realmuto. He has now allowed 13 home runs in just 58 1/3 innings this season to go along with a 5.09 ERA.
