From Rotoworld: Rodriguez posted a quality start Tuesday, yielding three runs across six frames in a 6-3 win. He wasn’t as dominant as he has been on occasion of late, particularly in a three-run third inning that helped push the left-hander’s pitch count to 110 over his six innings. However, it was another solid outing for the Rodriguez, who hasn’t put up a non-quality start since April 13.
Triggs surrendered one run on four hits over six innings while taking a no-decision in Tuesday’s win over the Mariners. While Triggs was not exactly pinpoint in his control — he threw a mere 55 of 98 pitches for strikes — he walked just two while striking out four. The only run to mar his line came when Nelson Cruz ripped him for a solo homer in the first inning. Otherwise, this was yet another respectable outing for the 28-year-old right-hander, who has allowed two or fewer runs in six of eight starts. He will carry a 2.12 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 35/12 K/BB ratio (46 2/3 innings) into his home start today.
