Latest on Lynn via Rotoworld: Lynn surrendered four runs on six hits over five innings in Sunday’s loss to the Rockies. Lynn surrendered an RBI ground out to Alexi Amarista in the second inning to put the Cardinals behind 1-0, but it was a three-run homer yielded to Gerardo Parra in the fourth inning which truly put them behind the eight-ball. Lynn will bring a nice 2.93 ERA and 1.06 WHIP into a road showdown with the rival Cubs in his next scheduled outing.
Lackey allowed five earned runs, six hits and four walks with five strikeouts over five innings in a loss at L.A. Dodgers on Saturday. Lackey entered with a 1.73 ERA in his career against the Dodgers, lowest against any single opponent, but L.A. certainly put a dent in that number. Kike Hernandez delivered a double against the veteran, while Chris Taylor left the yard for a 2-run homer. The right-hander threw just 58 of his 95 pitches for strikes as his ERA shot up to 5.18.
