PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION

The public is split for today’s game. Both teams are getting 50 percent of the wagers for this game with the Angels as a road favorite.

KEY INJURIES

The Angels have Ian Kinsler listed on the injury report for today’s game. He was placed on the 10-day DL after suffering a groin injury this weekend.

BETTING STRATEGIES

Oakland won the first game of the series on Thursday, 6-5. The Angeles have answered with a 2-1 win on Friday and an 8-3 victory on Saturday. Saturday’s win saw the Angels rack up the hits with Mike Trout putting up three hits and two RBI. Zack Cozart and Albert Pujols also each drove in two runs while picking up two hits.

Matt Shoemaker got the win on the mound for the Angels as he pitched 5.2 innings and allowed three runs. Daniel Mengden allowed six runs over 5.2 innings for Oakland to take the loss. Khris Davis and Matt Chapman each had a pair of hits for the Athletics in the loss.

This should be an interesting debut for Ohtani. The hype train has certainly been behind him, but there were also questions if he would even make the opening-day roster. Los Angeles still has the better hitters and the Angels should be able to beat up Gossett.
