Twins vs. Brewers Pick
After winning a pair of games at home, can the Minnesota Twins grab another win over the Milwaukee Brewers when the two meet at 8:10PM ET from Milwaukee?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Brewers are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -160 to win, while the Twins are getting a money line of +140 to win. The over/under total for the game is listed at 10 runs.

The pitching matchup tonight has Bartolo Colon (1-1, 5.18 ERA) on the mound for the Twins to face Brandon Woodruff (1-0, 0.00) of the Brewers. Colon is coming off a surprising complete game for the Twins. He still allowed four runs, though, and has given up 14 runs in his four starts with Minnesota. Woodruff made his first and only start for the Brewers last week in Tampa. He went 6.1 innings and allowed seven hits without a run.
These two played a pair of games in Minnesota the last two days, with the Twins winning each of them. They had a 5-4 win on Monday and an 11-4 win on Tuesday. Minnesota is now 55-56 overall and 27-33 at home while Milwaukee is 59-56 overall and 28-29 on the road.
The two teams combined for 27 hits in Tuesday’s game, but the Brewers weren’t able to get the big hits to bring the runs home. Milwaukee left nine runners on base in the loss. Eddie Rosario and Max Kepler each had two home runs for the Twins while Brian Dozier had three hits and drove in five runs. Adalberto Mejia lasted just three innings for the Twins on the mound, but didn’t get a decision. Matt Garza gave up eight runs in 3.1 innings to take his sixth loss for the Brewers. Domingo Santana had three hits and a RBI to lead the Brewers while Ryan Braun and Orlando Arcia also had three hits.
It’s hard to imagine Colon being able to pitch another complete game. Even if he does, he is still likely to give up a handful of runs. I also don’t expect Woodruff to go scoreless, but I feel like he is much more likely to have the better start of the two. Milwaukee hit the ball well on Tuesday, just couldn’t get the break out hit it needed. Being at home, I think the Brewers will find those key hits.
