Graveman pitched six innings in a 3-2 win over the Red Sox in his last outing. He allowed two earned runs on six hits while allowing one home run and striking out five in the process. He carries a 3.83 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP into tonight’s matchup with the Yankees.

Tanaka’s struggles continued on Saturday as he coughed up six runs in three-plus innings to take a loss to the Rays. He gave up nine hits in the brief outing and three of them left the yard. His biggest nemesis was Corey Dickerson, who launched two home runs. Tanaka walked three and struck out four batters in the loss. This bad start comes on the heels of allowing eight runs in just 1 2/3 innings in his previous start. He is fortunate to have a winning 5-3 record considering he has a 6.56 ERA through nine starts. He has allowed a whopping 13 home runs in 48 innings. (Rotoworld)

Bet Tonight’s A’s vs. Yankees Game

OUR PREDICTION: The A’s are winless in their last four games versus the Yankees. They’ve also dropped 20 of their last 28 road games, are 1-6 in Graveman’s last seven road starts and winless at 0-5 in his last five road outings versus an opponent with a winning record. Despite Tanaka’s troubles, the Yankees are still 22-8 in his last 30 home starts, are 6-2 in his last eight outings versus American League West opponents, and are 22-5 in his last 27 starts when he faces a team with a losing record.
