PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION

As of this writing, 72% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Indians to win on the money line. Meanwhile, 67% of the betting tickets are on the under.

OUR PREDICTION

Kluber is coming off another incredible season. He induces plenty of soft contact and generates ground balls at a healthy rate. The Mariners do have plenty of offensive potential, but Kluber is a tough matchup against any opponent. On the other side, Hernandez has lost a lot of velocity over the last two years but he’s looking to re-invent himself by mixing speeds and keeping hitters off-balance. Cleveland could get to him, but Kluber isn’t likely to be undone. The under is 4-0 in Hernandez’s last four home starts versus the Indians and is 4-0 in his last four outings versus Cleveland overall. The under is 18-7-1 in the last 26 meetings between these two teams and is 20-8-1 in the last 29 series meetings in Seattle as well.

THURSDAY MLB PREDICTION: INDIANS/MARINERS UNDER 7
