He struck out four and walked three in the loss. On the bright side, he managed to keep the ball in the ballpark for once. Making his first start since replacing Blake Snell in the Rays’ rotation, Ramirez yielded two runs over 5 1/3 innings against the Yankees on Friday. He didn’t factor into the decision. Ramirez gave up six hits while walking one and striking out five. He threw 65 pitches before being pulled and should be ready for a bigger workload next time out.
