Angels vs. Blue Jays Prediction
Will the Angels complete their sweep of the Blue Jays on Sunday when the teams wrap up things up at 1:07PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Blue Jays are -135 money line favorites to beat the Angels, who have odds of +115 to pull off the upset. With Jesse Chavez set to face Cesar Valdez in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10 runs.

From Rotoworld: Chavez was crushed in a no-decision against the Indians on Tuesday, surrendering seven runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings. Chavez also walked four on the night while striking out three. All seven runs against him came in the second inning, with the big blow coming on a grand slam from Bradley Zimmer. The right-hander will bring an uninspiring 5.35 ERA and 1.42 WHIP into Sunday’s start against the Blue Jays in Toronto.
Valdez tossed six frames of one-run ball in Tuesday’s 4-1 victory over the Athletics. Filling in for Aaron Sanchez (blister), Valdez limited the A’s to just five hits and one walk while notching four strikeouts. He threw only 77 pitches over his six innings, but since he had been pitching in relief lately Blue Jays manager John Gibbons decided that was enough. Valdez has no doubt earned another start, which will come Sunday against the Angels.
Bet Today’s Angels vs. Blue Jays Game
OUR PREDICTION: For one reason or another, the Angels have loved playing the Blue Jays in recent meetings. They’re now 4-0 in their last four games in Toronto and have taken four of five against the Halos overall. Granted, they’re winless at 0-5 in Chavez’s last five starts but the Blue Jays are 1-11 in their last 12 games when their opponent allows five runs or more in its previous contest. I like the value in the underdog here.
