From Rotoworld: Liriano (neck, back) threw a successful bullpen session on Tuesday afternoon. The expectation is that Liriano will start Thursday against the Red Sox, but the Blue Jays aren’t going to make that official until they see how the veteran lefty feels on Wednesday. Liriano exited his last start Saturday against the Tigers after experiencing tightness around his upper back and neck.
Fister will start Thursday versus the Blue Jays. Fister had been slated to take the ball Tuesday, but he was needed during Saturday’s 16-inning marathon loss to the Yankees. The righty is likely in line for long relief after Thursday’s outing. Chris Sale will be pushed back a day to Friday to get a little extra rest
