From Rotoworld: Straily pitched well in a no-decision against the Mets on Tuesday, allowing two runs on five hits across five innings. Straily walked one and struck out four on the night. He surrendered a leadoff homer to Curtis Granderson, then kept the Mets at bay aside from an RBI single by Travis d’Arnaud in the fourth. He’ll carry an impressive 3.44 ERA and 1.10 WHIP into Sunday’s matchup against the Brewers in Milwaukee.
Guerra was crushed in Tuesday’s loss to the Reds, surrendering eight runs on eight hits over four-plus innings. Guerra also issued three walks while striking out two on the night. He couldn’t keep the ball in the yard in this one, serving up home runs to Billy Hamilton, Joey Votto, Adam Duvall and Eugenio Suarez. He’ll look to improve upon his 4.54 ERA and 1.49 WHIP when he does battle against the Marlins at home on Sunday.
