From Rotoworld: Brewers recalled Woodruff from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Woodruff will make his major league debut Friday in a start against the Rays. The right-hander has had an up-and-down year in the minor leagues, producing an underwhelming 4.46 ERA over 16 starts for Colorado Springs.
Faria allowed three earned runs in four innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Yankees. Faria struck out eight of the 20 batters he faced, but he issued five walks and gave up three hits — including a two-run homer to Ronald Torreyes in the bottom of the second inning. The young right-hander stands 5-1 with a 2.93 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 58/22 K/BB ratio over his first 10 major league starts covering 61 1/3 innings. He’ll look to bounce back in his next scheduled outing at home against the Brewers.
